Field Application Specialist Austria(m/w/x)
As a Field Application Specialist in Austria, you will play a crucial role in enhancing laboratory efficiency and accuracy. Your daily tasks will involve leading training sessions, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with teams to ensure top-notch performance in clinical settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
- Previous experience in a technical or training role in Medical Device/IVD market
- Strong IT skills with LIS/LIMs connectivity and proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in German and business-level English
- Autonomy and ethical drive
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility for occasional trade shows or meetings
- Discipline, organization skills, and self-motivation to work autonomously
- Specific vision abilities including close vision and depth perception
- Ability to use hands and perform physical tasks
- Physical ability to travel up to 75%
- Ownership and maintenance of an automobile suitable for travel
- Travel includes airplane, train, automobile, and overnights
- 80% of time meeting with people
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Tasks
- Schedule and lead laboratory qualifications and customer training
- Ensure readiness of materials and personnel for a seamless go-live experience
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Sales team and Distributors
- Participate in site visits to assess customer fit and identify new opportunities
- Troubleshoot complex product issues and LIS/connectivity challenges on-site and remotely
- Define testing requirements and perform assays with precision
- Analyze qualification data to ensure high performance standards
- Collaborate with DACH and EMEA teams to refine installation processes
- Share troubleshooting insights with the global support network
