Tasks
- Engage suppliers for 2-year material supply.
- Confirm supply, machine, and tooling capacities.
- Drive closure of supply coverage gaps.
- Facilitate escalations for supply gaps.
- Manage supply agreements for performance outcomes.
- Drive and close new product introductions (NPI).
- Drive and close end-of-life (EOL) processes.
- Drive and close part change notices (PCNs).
- Drive and close part termination notices (PTNs).
- Manage last time buys for part terminations.
- Drive and close OEM customer volume changes.
- Develop and implement methods for identifying supply exceptions.
- Optimize methods for supplier master data quality.
- Develop and deploy automated master data methods.
- Utilize RPA for master data automation.
- Integrate supplier systems via API access.
- Pilot and deploy systems for efficiency and collaboration.
- Define and deploy KPIs for performance measurement.
- Identify performance gaps using KPIs.
- Refine and optimize work processes.
- Set clear standards for suppliers and partners.
- Build robust collaboration with SIOP and Manufacturing.
- Represent Procurement in monthly consensus planning.
- Represent HARMAN's suppliers in monthly consensus planning.
- Represent Procurement, suppliers, and customers in executive escalations.
- Lead development and growth of the Procurement team.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and training.
- Foster continuous learning and innovation.
- Develop an ownership culture.
- Empower team members to solve problems.
- Empower team members to make decisions.
