Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating/administering Jira/Confluence
- Deep knowledge of Jira/Confluence configuration
- Strong experience in automation and scripting
- Experience integrating Jira/Confluence with enterprise systems
- Solid understanding of platform governance and best practices
- Strong focus on service quality and reliability
- Ability to analyze trends and drive optimization
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent English; German is a plus
Tasks
- Manage the request catalogue.
- Handle incidents, problems, and changes.
- Build automations to eliminate repetitive work.
- Interact with internal consumers, DevOps teams, and vendors.
- Maintain the template-based request catalogue.
- Design new request templates.
- Continuously improve existing templates.
- Prioritize, fulfill, and document requests according to SLAs and KPIs.
- Act as a 2nd/3rd-level escalation point for Jira/Confluence and integrations.
- Restore service within SLA.
- Perform root-cause analysis.
- Implement preventive actions.
- Keep stakeholders informed.
- Plan and execute standard and non-standard changes.
- Ensure minimal disruption during changes.
- Ensure proper documentation for changes.
- Design, build, and maintain automations (Jira Automation, Python, Groovy, JQL, REST).
- Streamline recurring tasks and improve data quality.
- Develop and support integrations with GitHub, Microsoft 365, SAP, ServiceNow, and other systems.
- Monitor and optimize performance, security, and cost of automations and integrations.
- Track service KPIs.
- Analyze trends.
- Propose enhancements for stability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Document lessons learned and update knowledge-base articles to reduce incidents.
- Enforce platform governance for workflow design, permission schemes, and naming conventions.
- Ensure compliance of configurations, automations, and integrations.
- Adhere to GxP validation, GDPR, SOX, CSV, and internal quality processes.
- Support audits, CAPAs, and deviations as required.
