Tasks
- Support electrical system development for high-end production printers
- Connect power distribution, power supplies, actuators, and sensors
- Design electrical systems including power, drivers, drives, sensors, optics, actuators, and PCBs
- Specify and agree on requirements with architects based on customer needs
- Develop technical designs and concepts balancing time, quality, performance, accuracy, interdisciplinary interactions, and cost
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, physics, and other engineering disciplines
- Review ideas and develop system-level solutions within the project team
- Test and review designs by building prototypes or using simulations
- Validate technical feasibility
- Lead and execute your own plans
- Balance and negotiate design requirements
- Align designs and project plans with team members
- Implement design solutions
- Test prototypes
- Verify correct design implementation for system robustness and accuracy
- Release designs into production with production and procurement teams
- Troubleshoot product issues
- Define improvement actions
