- Comprehensive knowledge of product development calendars and milestones

- Good understanding of user behavior and/or experience transferring behavioral analytic data to design components
- High degree of creativity and problem-solving
- Ability to move nimbly between strategy and execution

- BA/BS degree in related field
- Experience in agile methodology environment (preferred)

Tasks
- Lead the Design Operations function
- Ensure effective decision-making
- Foster cross-functional collaboration
- Maintain a positive team environment
- Manage design team tooling
- Manage software vendor relationships
- Handle tool contract renewals
- Introduce new design tools
- Train the team on new tools
- Facilitate communication with cross-functional stakeholders
- Reinforce design processes, systems, and best practices
- Collaborate with UX researchers and designers
- Invent and iterate on user-centric experiences
- Ensure design quality through consistent tools and processes
- Create presentations for UX and Design Operations communication
- Represent the navify product perspective
- Advocate for navify product requirements
- Drive momentum for the work portfolio
- Keep the team on track
- Oversee strategic and tactical prioritization of design initiatives and workflows
- Determine and implement process improvements
- Create and implement measurement plans
- Ensure quality for successful delivery
- Act as a collaboration liaison with other UX teams
- Evangelize design's impact with business partners
- Advocate for an experience design mindset
- Lead UX communications internally and externally
- Collaborate seamlessly with UX designers
- Craft a consistent message about design's value
- Share this message with design partners
- Capture and share user-centered design success stories
- Onboard new UX Design & Validation team members
