Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Experience as Data Protection Expert, Data Governance Expert, or Business Analyst
- Solid expertise in Data protection obligations and safeguards
- Strong understanding of Wholesale Banking data domains
- Structured and risk-aware mindset
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to explain complex data and governance topics clearly
- Autonomous, organised, and comfortable working across functions
Tasks
- Support implementation of data governance and protection requirements
- Work in Agile environment with multidisciplinary teams
- Translate business requirements into clear data requirements
- Support data governance and quality controls
- Identify and document data-related risks and issues
- Challenge gaps in ownership or governance artifacts
- Bridge business, IT, data owners, and control functions
- Ensure data lineage documentation is available and risk-appropriate
- Align solutions with Swiss regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with Swiss data protection law (nFADP/FADP)
- Act as Business Unit Data Protection Office Representative
- Execute and oversee core data protection activities
- Embed data protection in change initiatives
- Serve as AI Gatekeeper for AI use cases
- Ensure completeness and consistency of AI documentation
- Identify and address material data risks
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance
- Support outsourcing of data governance and protection controls
- Maintain traceability and documentation of governance
- Design and implement governance arrangements and controls
- Facilitate knowledge sharing on data management and protection
