- Medical Degree (MD)
- Advanced degrees (e.g., PharmD, PhD) advantageous
- Profound Medical Affairs experience (minimum >5 years)
- Solid understanding of drug development
- Solid understanding of commercialization
- Solid understanding of healthcare compliance (GCP, GVP)
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Demonstrated financial acumen
- Ability to operate in complex matrix environment
- Ability to operate with shared accountabilities
- Strong evidence of leading with a vision
- Coaching leadership approach
- Experience leading a team of medical experts
- Experience influencing medical decisions at senior level
- Experience influencing commercial decisions at senior level
- Deep understanding of local healthcare system
- Understanding of regulatory environments
- Understanding of payer environments
- Board certification in priority therapeutic areas advantageous
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in German
- French language skills advantageous
Tasks
- Serve as a core member of the Leadership Team.
- Provide strategic leadership for scientific, medical, and clinical excellence.
- Foster high-level engagement with the scientific community.
- Foster high-level engagement with healthcare stakeholders.
- Ensure superior patient outcomes.
- Accelerate adoption of transformative medicines.
- Share responsibility for enterprise strategy.
- Share responsibility for long-term business objectives.
- Ensure competitive medical strategies.
- Build strategies on robust evidence generation.
- Build strategies on scientific data positioning.
- Act as primary contact for key external stakeholders.

- Ensure coherent function at local and regional levels.
