Country Communications Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven marketing and communications experience, preferably multinational
- Strong strategic communication planning and execution skills
- Strong writing skills for diverse content
- Ability to adapt messaging for diverse cultural contexts
- Continuous learning of industry knowledge and technology
- Experience in crisis communications
- Relevant certifications or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of additional languages highly desirable
- Familiarity with European labor laws and Works Councils processes
Tasks
- Develop and execute communication strategies
- Align communication with corporate narrative and campaigns
- Ensure communication meets regulatory requirements
- Adapt messaging for local cultural contexts
- Drive employee engagement through communication
- Build and manage company reputation
- Support company growth objectives
- Organize and facilitate country leader town halls
- Coordinate town hall agendas, speakers, and content
- Manage town hall invitations and post-event surveys
- Develop country-specific announcements
- Deliver policy updates and organizational changes
- Develop relevant press releases and media materials
- Execute a proactive earned media engagement strategy
- Address incoming media queries
- Ensure positive media coverage
- Manage stakeholder communications during crises
- Coordinate with HR, Legal, and other stakeholders
- Disseminate accurate and timely information
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Serve on local Crisis Management Teams
- Collaborate with local leaders on external communications
- Support media interviews and local events
- Develop thought leadership content
- Adapt global communications for local language and culture
- Manage messaging for Works Councils and unions
- Translate global communications into local languages
- Translate local content into English for approvals
- Prepare country-specific press releases and updates
- Maintain high-quality standards for local content
