Requirements

  • Technical education (HTL, FH, Uni, or similar) in mechanical engineering
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Design and mechanical calculation knowledge in large rotating electrical machines
  • Good knowledge in 3D CAD (preferably Siemens NX)
  • Good knowledge in PLM (Software Siemens Teamcenter)
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
  • Good command of German
  • Good command of English
  • Willingness to travel (5%)
  • Teamwork ability
  • Strong communication skills

Tasks

  • Design core components for rotating electrical machines
  • Optimize active parts including salient poles and windings
  • Create precise 3D geometry models for simulations
  • Prepare high-quality 3D models and technical drawings
  • Generate complete Bill of Materials for components
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary R&D teams
  • Work with engineering, manufacturing, and assembly teams
  • Ensure robust and manufacturable component designs
  • Contribute to improving design standards and methods

Education

  • Vocational certification

  • German – Business Fluent
