Contingency Planner(m/w/x)
Developing component support plans for military contingency operations, supporting conferences and preparing Flag/General/SES level briefings. 7+ years military experience at Service/Component/Combatant Command HQ, with Joint/Operational Planning Team leadership, required. Work in a highly regulated military planning environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years military experience at Service HQ, Component HQ, or Combatant Command
- 2+ years experience at MEF, Fleet, Corps, Numbered Air Force HQ, Service Component HQ, or Combatant Command G, N, A, or J-5
- Experience with Marine Corps, Military Decision-Making, Navy, or Joint Planning Process
- Experience leading Joint or Operational Planning Teams
- Creation and delivery of Flag, General, or SES level reports, briefings, documents with client-ready quality
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 25%
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience as Joint Qualified Officer, Special Technical Operations Planner, or Security Cooperation Planner
- Experience with Joint Staff/Combatant Command planning tools, automation, software, databases
- Experience in USMC MOS 0505, 0507, 0508, US Army Skill Identifier 6S, USAF SEI YSG, or USN AQD JP1 or JP3
- Master's degree
- Graduate of School of Advanced Warfighting, Military Studies, Air and Space Studies, Maritime Advanced Warfighting, or Joint Advanced Warfighting School
- Completion of JPME Phase I course
- Completion of War College or Joint and Combined Warfighting School JPME II course
- Graduate of JOPES Action Officer course
- TS/SCI clearance

- Apply expertise in military planning processes
- Develop component support plans for contingency operations
- Apply subject matter expertise to planning teams
- Support conferences, workshops, and special events
- Prepare briefings and information papers
- Draft executive correspondence
- Create deliverables for senior decision makers
- Conduct crisis planning as directed by leadership
