Requirements

  • Qualification in refrigeration sector or equivalent experience
  • Valid refrigeration engineer’s certificate; other certificates advantageous
  • Solid experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting (commercial refrigeration)
  • English speaking; good command of French and/or Dutch (spoken/written)
  • Category B driving licence
  • Independent work, solution-oriented, flexible with changing priorities
  • Customer-focused attitude, strong team player, willing to work on-call/overtime

Tasks

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on refrigeration systems
  • Commission refrigeration systems independently
  • Inspect and assess system performance at partner sites
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Assemble prototypes and specific units as needed
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support
  • Write and update technical reports and documentation
  • Train partner technicians on new AHT products
  • Collaborate on the installation and dismantling of refrigeration systems
  • Install and service AHT and third-party refrigeration products
  • Monitor and maintain refrigeration systems using R134a, R404a, R410a, R417a, R290, R744
  • Work at various Belgium Food Retail Store locations

  • Vocational certification

  • Dutch – Business Fluent
