Designing and building core infrastructure on Google Cloud for gastronomy clients. Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform services (IAM, VPC, BigQuery) required. Development focus on Go language.

Requirements

  • Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (IAM, organization policies, VPC, DNS, Cloud Storage, serverless computing services, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Monitoring)
  • Strong understanding of security in cloud environments (policies, IAM roles, compliance) at scale
  • Strong skills in Terraform and automation of cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (VPC peering, VPN, Interconnect) and hybrid cloud scenarios
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (preferably Go)
  • Experience with cost management and budgeting practices
  • Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Tasks

  • Design and build core cloud platform capabilities
  • Contribute to the architecture of cloud services
  • Set up automatic budget and security policy notifications
  • Establish cloud-to-data-center connectivity
  • Enable self-service Google project creation
  • Manage self-service IAM and group management
  • Implement governance for GCP-native services
  • Oversee cloud identity management
  • Create customer dashboards for spend and security findings
  • Develop an internal marketplace for shared services
  • Simplify technical DNS zone management
  • Build services using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
  • Automate processes and ensure observability
  • Write and maintain Go-based services for cloud governance
  • Mentor and coach engineers in the squad
  • Collaborate with the service manager to prioritize backlog
  • Support product teams in effective GCP usage
  • Engage with other squads for service integration
