- Serve as a trusted resource for pet owners and veterinary teams
- Navigate complex claim scenarios with empathy and professionalism
- Support the appeals process with secondary claim reviews
- Provide clear rationale for claim outcomes
- Evaluate claim eligibility and determine outcomes
- Apply policy language and claims guidelines consistently
- Conduct secondary reviews for appeals
- Communicate claim rationale clearly and professionally
- Investigate complex claim scenarios
- Gather and validate relevant medical and policy information
- Identify and obtain missing documentation
- Communicate with veterinary professionals and pet owners
- Update internal teams on claim decisions and status
- Deliver efficient and empathetic service
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement
