Category Specialist – Automotive Semiconductors(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will manage supplier relationships and drive cost optimization in the automotive semiconductor sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to align sourcing strategies with product development, leading negotiations, and enhancing procurement efficiency.

Requirements

• •At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor procurement
• •Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• •3+ years of experience in procurement with focus on electronics or semiconductor sourcing
• •Proven success in supplier negotiations and cost management
• •Strong understanding of semiconductor supply chains and pricing models
• •Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• •Experience in an automotive Tier 1 or OEM environment
• •Familiarity with infotainment systems, ADAS, or vehicle connectivity platforms
• •Knowledge of semiconductor lifecycle management and obsolescence planning
• •Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic and international)

• •Contribute to cross-category initiatives
• •Support senior category leaders as needed
• •Participate in mentoring and knowledge-sharing within the procurement team
