Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying complex systems
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and integration
- Experience with system documentation, including requirements and architecture
- Ability to communicate technical issues across all levels
- Hands-on approach and willingness to engage deeply
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities
- Proximity to Atlanta, open to travel up to 25%
- MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience developing and deploying autonomous vehicles or systems
- Experience with DOORS, Jama, Polarion, Enterprise Architect
- Experience with real-time operating systems and networking protocols
- Familiarity with safety standards for autonomous systems
- Experience with safety in aviation or robotics applications
- Familiarity with airside driving environment at major airports
- Experience with cybersecurity for automated vehicles
- Experience with data science and statistical analysis
- Located in or willingness to relocate to Atlanta
Tasks
- Drive the definition and deployment of safety-critical systems for autonomous vehicle architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture and integration strategy
- Architect solutions for scalability and usability in production operations
- Oversee end-to-end system integration and resolve architectural issues
- Lead design reviews and trade-off analyses
- Translate stakeholder needs into tiered system requirements
- Define and monitor KPIs for engineering and system performance
- Support FMEA analyses and risk assessments
- Mentor engineers in system-level thinking and interface design
