Tasks
- Lead the RevTech engineering organization
- Grow a small group into a high-performing team
- Partner with the VP of Revenue to prioritize domain roadmap
- Balance build-vs-buy decisions
- Ensure engineering investment aligns with commercial outcomes
- Hire and develop engineering managers and engineers
- Manage relationships with external development partners
- Drive technical excellence in a mixed development context
- Define technical strategy for system coherence
- Navigate a matrix organization
- Work with other Engineering Directors to maintain standards
- Coordinate shared services across domains
- Ensure a consistent engineering culture
- Champion AI and automation in the commercial stack
- Identify AI and machine learning opportunities
- Partner with Data Science team to deploy models
- Foster a culture of continuous AI leverage
- Represent engineering in commercial discussions
- Translate non-technical challenges into engineering problems
