- Master’s degree in Life Science, Business, Economics or relevant field
- 10+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical organizations and Business Development
- Track record of leading projects and deals for collaborations, commercialisation and transactions
- Record of presenting partnership opportunities to senior management
- Ability to build rapport with functional area leaders
- Ability to influence senior management, converting 'no' to 'yes'
- Ability to lead due diligence, business case building and deal structuring
- Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical business incl. diagnostics, digital health, new product launches
- Firm understanding of multicultural impact on business relationships and international context
- Direct or indirect leadership or people management experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills for financial evaluations
- Ability to identify and prioritize risks, weigh benefits, and frame business decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Tasks
- Evaluate external commercial partnerships
- Conduct due diligence on global partnering opportunities
- Drive deal strategy and execution
- Structure deals based on valuation and risk
- Support commercial product growth
- Align with IO consumerization objectives
- Embed partnering into commercial planning
- Identify and prioritize future opportunities
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration
- Plan and execute healthcare partnership projects
- Secure stakeholder alignment
- Participate in executive briefings
- Lead renegotiations and settlement agreements
- Foster internal networking and knowledge transfer
- Manage external interactions
- Contribute to partnering strategy improvement
- Develop and deliver training materials
