Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields
  • Practical experience or strong interest in plant-based operations
  • Solid digital and data skills, ERP system (SAP R/3 – 4H), advanced MS Office, Power BI and Power Apps proficiency
  • Fluent English and German communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, challenge, influence, and collaboration skills
  • Data-driven mindset, translating data into actionable business insights
  • Proactive, growth-oriented attitude, ownership, and drive for improvements
  • Understanding of Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry (advantageous)
  • Continuous learning mindset, high adaptability and resilience

Tasks

  • Provide financial insights and guidance to production departments and support functions
  • Build, analyze, and communicate key operational and financial KPIs
  • Prepare payback calculations for appropriation requests
  • Track forecasted productivity to ensure plant cost reduction
  • Participate in monthly financial closing, including accruals and production orders settlement
  • Conduct insightful variance analysis and reporting
  • Maintain high data quality and transparency through weekly housekeeping
  • Manage the scrap process and analyze material and labor variances
  • Initiate actions to reduce losses
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, ensuring realistic and data-driven assumptions
  • Collaborate with manufacturing management to enhance cost awareness and financial discipline
  • Execute product costing calculations and report deviations
  • Build financial understanding among non-finance teams
  • Support better decision-making at all levels
  • Ensure adherence to global and local financial policies and procedures
