- Establish and maintain a governed metrics layer
- Ensure clear metric definitions and versioned transformations
- Design and enforce data governance and access control
- Use Unity Catalog, RBAC, RLS/OLS, and workspace isolation
- Lead system-level performance diagnostics
- Identify bottlenecks in data modeling, DAX logic, Spark processing, and capacity strategy
