Requirements

• Eight years aircraft license maintenance experience
• Experience training employees in specialized duties
• Planning and organizational skills for workload
• Interpersonal skills for effective working relationships
• Ability to work independently and manage
• Aircraft Maintenance License with signing experience
• College diploma or equivalent academic qualification
• Eight years aviation and license experience
• Two years leadership or supervisor experience
• Knowledge of EASA, FAA, and CAAS
• Verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Planning skills for multiple project settings
• Leadership, decision-making, and mentoring skills
• Knowledge of process improvement and Six Sigma
• Knowledge of Risk Management Standards
• Knowledge of WHS and Environmental regulations
• Knowledge of maintenance field best practices
• Computer skills for office applications
• Knowledge of SAP maintenance or ERP
• Leadership or supervisory training or qualifications
• Fluent English oral and written skills
• Readiness to travel if necessary

Tasks

• Oversee daily activities for assigned functional areas
• Perform or supervise work on aircraft components
• Promote open communication with related departments
• Ensure quality assurance on all team work
• Comply with aviation regulations and company policies
• Support the planning department with project schedules
• Order parts to meet scheduled delivery times
• Track project progress to maintain budgetary control
• Report potential delivery overruns to the manager
• Monitor accurate time recording for direct reports
• Enforce compliance with approved technical data
• Maintain detailed and progressively signed-off work packs
