- Deep technical understanding of LLMs, token economics, prompt engineering, API design, and orchestration patterns
- Ability to read protocol specs and see edge cases
- Obsession with experimentation and reliability
- Thinking in terms of error rates and customer satisfaction
- Instrumenting everything
- Not precious about agents; finds root cause of failures and fixes them
- Ability to kill clever solutions for simpler ones when appropriate
- Daily use of AI tools
- Active experimentation with models, prompts, workflows, and automations
- Strong opinions about what works and why
- Prefers owning problems over being told what to do
- Kindness and care for people around you
Tasks
- Design, build, and operate AI agents
- Automate customer support
- Supervise agents resolving customer issues
- Hand off issues to humans when needed
- Manage agent reliability, cost, and quality

- Adjust agent governance rules
- Design agent team structures
