Requirements

  • 2–3 years accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Solid grasp of debit/credit and ledger workflows
  • Strong understanding of Austrian accounting principles (UGB)
  • Strong understanding of standard VAT rules
  • Exposure to UK GAAP or US GAAP is a strong plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using major ERP/accounting system
  • Actual NetSuite experience is a major plus, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Fluency in English
  • German is a strong advantage

Tasks

  • Manage daily accounts payable
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Handle bank transactions
  • Manage credit cards
  • Process travel and expense claims
  • Assist with monthly closing activities
  • Support yearly closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with Austrian GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP
  • Handle standard European VAT logic
  • Support audit readiness
  • Provide basic NetSuite troubleshooting
  • Offer user support for NetSuite
  • Automate NetSuite workflows

  • 2 - 3 years

  • Bachelor's degree
