Beschreibung

You will bridge the gap between theory and reality by designing CFRP structures for hydrogen aircraft and then heading to the workshop to help manufacture and assemble your own concepts.

Anforderungen

• •Full-time student status
• •Interest in Composite Design Engineering
• •Enrolled student in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable degree
• •Knowledge in 3DEXPERIENCE / Catia V5 or other CAD tools
• •Motivation to learn 3DX quickly
• •Basic understanding of FEM and pre-sizing principles
• •Motivation to deepen simulation knowledge
• •Understanding of composite materials and mechanical design
• •Hands-on mentality
• •Enjoyment of physical tinkering and building
• •Fluency in English
• •German language skills as a plus

Aufgaben

• •Develop innovative ideas for CFRP structures
• •Create detailed 3D models using 3DEXPERIENCE
• •Support the pre-sizing of aircraft components
• •Perform initial FEM calculations for validation
• •Build and assemble prototypes in the workshop
• •Collaborate with manufacturing engineering in Stade
• •Coordinate between design, stress, and manufacturing teams
