Anforderungen
- Active enrollment at a German university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in converting to full-time (long-term collaboration)
- Availability to work 3–4 days per week on an ongoing basis
- Strong interest in data and data platform engineering
- Motivation to grow into a Product Engineer for Data & Platform Engineering
- Proactive, fast learner with a problem-solving mindset
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
- Working knowledge of SQL and general software development
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
- Strong, clear communication skills in English
- Prior experience in software, infrastructure, or technical product/project roles
- Experience with Docker and container platforms
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience in vendor management or contract negotiations
Aufgaben
- Support hands-on data operations
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Resolve helpdesk tickets and bug fixes
- Perform low to medium complexity data engineering tasks
- Leverage GenAI for platform work
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using GenAI
- Assist with team rituals and planning
- Facilitate stakeholder management
- Organize workload and communicate priorities
- Maintain clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
- Translate technical concepts into business-friendly insights
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment
- Own problems from identification to delivery
- Deliver and maintain production data products
- Combine product thinking with engineering execution
