- Master's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Commerce International
- Experience in automotive purchasing
- Knowledge of automotive cost calculation
- Fluent level of English
- Knowledge of German
- Good communication skills, international mindset, and openness to new cultures
- Humility, listening skills, positive attitude, professionalism, and diplomacy
Aufgaben
- Lead the sourcing process from material cost target preparation to project closure
- Participate in project meetings and support project award activities
- Involve Segment Leader at the right time to share project constraints and propose sourcing strategies
- Select supplier bid-list based on Compliant Segment Panel
- Liaise with Project and Segment organizations to identify Bundle opportunities
- Assess risk impacts of pre-selected suppliers on the project
- Instigate competition among suppliers by bringing at least two to the same technical level
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers
- Leverage commodity organization for pre-sourcing and sourcing decisions
- Define and control communication flows and content between project teams and suppliers
- Manage monthly reporting of KPIs towards the Product Line
