- US Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years relevant experience
- 8+ years NetApp/VMWARE vSphere/ESXI experience
- Strong NetApp/VMWARE concepts and best practices knowledge
- Expert knowledge of NetApp, ESXi hosts, clusters, vSAN/NAS/backup
- Support Continuity of Operations (COOP)
- Develop/participate in After Action Reports (AARs)
- Establish security and cyber controls (STIGs, scans, logging, monitoring)
- Senior level knowledge of Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, VMWare Photon OS
- Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS, block/file/object storage, fiber channel switching
- Proficiency with NetApp, Dell/EMC, VMware ESXi
- Solid scripting skills and Linux/Windows administration
- NCDA or storage certs, VCP-DCV/DTM, 8570 IAT Level II cert
- On-call availability
- TESA eligibility
Aufgaben
- Configure and maintain SAN, NAS, and cloud storage systems
- Monitor and optimize storage performance
- Forecast and manage storage capacity
- Address storage alerts proactively
- Manage automated backups and data replication
- Implement and enforce security standards
- Manage user access rights
- Collaborate with vendors for technical support and upgrades
- Configure and maintain enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp ONTAP)
- Monitor and adjust resource usage
- Optimize performance for databases and virtual environments
- Lead backup and recovery operations
- Manage data replication (e.g., SnapMirror)
- Resolve high-level SAN/NAS incidents
- Enforce security policies and apply firmware updates
- Automate routine tasks with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible)
- Support geographically dispersed Windows Enterprise network
- Ensure efficient operation of Department of Defense Network
- Correct system deficiencies and improve performance
- Provide senior-level Tier 3 support
- Build, configure, and administer servers
- Provide remote and on-site support
- Manage VDI solutions (e.g., VMware Horizon)
- Follow technical guidance for VDI environments
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify risks
- Rapidly identify and correct faults
- Develop and update VDI environments
- Implement technical standards (SOP, TTP, implementation instructions)
- Monitor processes for information systems
- Collaborate with teams for system optimization
- Identify and reduce error rates
- Document customer experience
- Manage Windows system administrator functions
- Support global Active Directory infrastructure
- Communicate clearly and succinctly
- Present products and ideas professionally
- Work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Coordinate team efforts
- Interact with client managers and system users
