- BA/BS + 3 years specialized experience or AA/AS + 7 years specialized experience or major cert + 7 years specialized experience or 11 years specialized experience
- CCNA – Collaboration Certification
- CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)
- Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches
- Experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and networking
- TESA eligibility
- ITIL v3 – Foundation
- Extensive background in AV system installation or maintenance
- AMX and Crestron certifications
Aufgaben
- Manage UC and A/V operations for US AFRICOM in Stuttgart, Germany
- Administer enterprise-level IP Telephony in operations and maintenance
- Design, install, and integrate UC systems to meet customer specifications
- Develop and deliver installation, integration, and maintenance documentation
- Collaborate with external service providers to ensure compliance with configuration policies
- Support engineering tasks throughout the project management lifecycle
- Stay informed about emerging IT trends and influence government work
- Provide tier 3 troubleshooting support for operations and maintenance
- Offer escalated support for maintenance, monitoring, upgrades, and network performance reviews
- Determine and resolve problems for AFRICOM unclassified and classified EVoIP and VTC services
- Configure devices according to security policies
- Monitor capacity and utilization
- Analyze and plan for efficient network service utilization and management
- Troubleshoot and correct faults or outages
- Complete after-action problem identification
- Manage enterprise EVoIP and VTC dial-plan and account functions
- Maintain conference room audio visual systems
- Configure audio DSPs, PTZ cameras, microphones, speakers, and controllers
- Administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager, voice gateways, and SBCs
- Manage SIP, H.323, Cisco Expressway, VCS, TMS, Prime Collaboration, Meeting Server, MCU, and VoIP/Video endpoints
- Communicate clearly and succinctly in writing and speech
- Demonstrate strong leadership and business-like presentation skills
- Work in dynamic, fast-paced environments requiring team interaction
- Coordinate efforts with client managers and system users
- Provide remote support and travel to customer sites as needed
