In this internship, you will dive into a dynamic trading environment, managing trading counterparts and ensuring accurate information in the trading system. Your role will involve confirming deals, processing invoices, and supporting the Back Office team with various tasks and projects.

Anforderungen

• •Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related discipline
• •High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• •Strong drive for results and ability to meet tight deadlines
• •Ability to prioritise and organise daily workloads
• •Ability to work within a team and individually
• •Proactivity and good communication skills
• •Knowledge of energy commodity markets
• •European languages desirable; English mandatory
• •Tri-partite internship agreement mandatory

Aufgaben

• •Assist in managing a portfolio of trading counterparts
• •Ensure accurate trading information in the in-house trading system
• •Confirm deals with counterparts and brokers daily
• •Chase and comment on outstanding confirmations each day
• •Link deals to legal contracts
• •Process and send sales invoices to counterparts
• •Process purchase invoices and submit payment instructions to finance
• •Reconcile outstanding items with counterparts
• •Address Back Office related queries from internal and external counterparties
• •Support general Back Office duties like emailing, archiving, and filing
• •Assist with system development support and testing
• •Participate in team and individual projects assigned by the Global Back Office Manager
• •Assist with regular internal and external audits and regulatory obligations
