- High school completion or equivalent
- One to three years experience with tire changing machinery
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Authorization to work in host country
- Ability to stand and bend for long periods
- Ability to push and test vehicles and heavy objects
- Routine lifting to 50 pounds
- Regular handling, grasping, kneeling, and carrying
- Constant use of vision and mental alertness
- Occasional use of safety glasses and hearing protection
- Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
Aufgaben
- Repair and replace tires on light, heavy, and special purpose vehicles
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Report damaged or missing tools and equipment to supervisor
- Report parts or material shortages to supply custodian
- Remove and repair tube and tubeless punctured tires
- Replace tube and tubeless tires on rigid and split rims
- Operate tire changing and wheel balancing machinery
- Remove and replace wheels on all vehicle types
- Operate Materials Handling Equipment (MHE), vehicle trolley jacks, portable compressors, and air tools when trained
- Adhere strictly to Safety, Environmental, and Hazardous Materiel (HAZMAT) procedures
- Ensure safety equipment is serviceable and used when required
- Inspect all tools and equipment for serviceability before use
- Safeguard, inspect, and request replacement for issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Complete paperwork, account for time on work orders, and complete inspection forms
- Balance wheels using spin or bubble balancers
- Perform other duties as assigned
