Anforderungen
- Masters degree in aerospace engineering, computational sciences, or similar
- Strong background in thermal modelling and analysis of aerospace systems
- Experience with thermal management in Hypersonics / atmospheric re-entry applications
- Profound understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat conduction, heat transfer, and radiation

Aufgaben
- Perform thermal analysis of subsystems and the overall system for a two-staged hypersonic vehicle
- Conduct analysis using low-fidelity and high-fidelity FEM methods
- Determine thermal loads on the vehicle's outer surface and internally
- Define thermal boundary conditions, load cases, and thermal margins
- Support subsystem design by identifying thermal risks and proposing optimizations
- Translate analysis results into technical solutions
- Design a Thermal Protection System (TPS) for hypersonic winged vehicles from draft to finished product
- Define test samples, test setup, conditions, and procedures in cooperation with the AIT department
- Document models, assumptions, results, and design decisions
- Collaborate closely with design, systems, CFD, test, and manufacturing teams
