- Match R&D teams with appropriate university labs
- Steer project progress and ensure final delivery
- Support joint events like expert talks and management visits
- Structure cooperation with external associations
- Gain early access to startups and capture tech trends
- Support the creation of a strategic technology roadmap
- Ensure a competitive product development roadmap focused on customer value
