In this role, you will lead a team of data engineers to enhance and automate the data platform, ensuring it meets scalability and security standards. Your hands-on approach will empower teams across the company to leverage data effectively while promoting best practices in data engineering.

Anforderungen

• •University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or similar field
• •Extensive hands-on experience building, improving, and operating data platforms in high-volume environments
• •Expert Level SQL, dbt & Python
• •Skilled using Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
• •Expertise in AWS Cloud, especially data-native services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift) and security features (IAM, KMS, networking)
• •Experience with data modelling in the modern data stack
• •Workflow Orchestration: Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar
• •Containerization: Docker; Kubernetes is a plus
• •Deep knowledge of Software Engineering best practices
• •Ability to balance big picture with hands-on engineering and problem-solving
• •Comfortable leveraging GenAI-assisted coding while maintaining high standards
• •First experience acting as team or tech lead
• •Ability to act as a trusted advisor and communicate complex technical topics clearly
