Technical Sales Manager EMEA(m/w/x)
Technical sales of specialty chemicals and hydrocolloid solutions through a distributor network across EMEA. Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in polymer processing or compounding required. Frequent international travel, 30 days vacation.
Anforderungen
- Degree in polymer processing, material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or commercial education with technical knowledge
- Work experience in polymer processing, compounding, thermoplastics, thermosets, manufacturing, or masterbatching
- Min. 5 years of B2B Sales or technical service experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communications ability
- Fluency in English and good command of German
- Self-motivation, teamwork skills, business acumen, and customer focus
- Action and results orientation
- Ability to recognize and seize opportunities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Experience in international work environments
- Ability to travel up to 50% throughout Europe
Aufgaben
- Develop sales of product solutions to existing and new customers
- Provide technical sales support to customers and distributors
- Build relationships within the EMEA+I distributor network
- Initiate new business development for product applications
- Establish Huber and Martinswerk brands with regional customers
- Leverage product portfolio and application capabilities
- Support European distributors to maximize profitable sales
- Manage distributors within the polymer market segment
- Uncover customer needs and sell solutions across all functional levels
- Negotiate with senior executives, research chemists, and purchasing agents
- Drive growth in sales volume and gross margin
- Maximize selling prices to increase company profits
- Monitor market situations, competition, and industry trends
- Collaborate with Technical Support, R&D, and Marketing on product launches
- Update the Sales team on opportunities and competitor activity
- Provide regular sales forecasting and call reports
- Develop and maintain detailed account plans
