- Experience with loudspeaker system architecture ownership
- Familiarity with acoustics and loudspeaker technologies
- Familiarity with Asian culture and etiquette
- Experience with linear and switching PSU designs

- Lead change management, discovery, and NPI
- Own product architecture and maintenance
- Define technical direction for Hardware Development
- Guide hardware development with partners
- Oversee speaker and electronics hardware delivery
- Ensure firmware and QA delivery
- Ensure designs suit mass production
- Ensure compliance with market regulations
- Collaborate with production teams in Germany and Asia
- Solve problems with high autonomy
- Plan R&D team activities
- Estimate complexity and cost
- Collaborate with leadership on deadlines and features
- Empathetically support team members
- Improve engineering and design knowledge
- Share knowledge across the Focusrite group
