Anforderungen

  • •Experience shipping at least one AAA game in a technical leadership role
  • •Deep knowledge of C++ and systems programming
  • •Deep understanding of NPC AI creation
  • •BSc in Engineering or similar
  • •Expertise in game architecture, tools/pipeline design, cloud services, and live systems
  • •Proven leadership experience managing senior engineers
  • •Excellent communication skills and strategic decision-making
  • •Passion for building great games and delivering stable live services
  • •Willingness to relocate to Frankfurt
  • •Experience with CRYENGINE
  • •Knowledge of JavaScript

Aufgaben

  • •Drive the technical vision and strategy
  • •Ensure the technical stack is scalable, secure, and maintainable
  • •Own the technical vision and architecture of the project
  • •Represent the technical domain in the Core Leadership Team
  • •Contribute to cross-discipline decision-making and long-term planning
  • •Collaborate with Game, Development, and Product Directors
  • •Shape and refine production processes and milestone plans
  • •Foster partnerships across Crytek teams for technical alignment
  • •Act as a bridge between the game service team and the engine team
  • •Build and lead a high-performing engineering team
  • •Define clear technical roles and growth paths within the team
  • •Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent
  • •Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning
  • •Communicate project needs aligned with engine capabilities
  • •Provide feedback for CryEngine evolution
  • •Support knowledge-sharing across Crytek projects
  • •Build systems for frequent live updates and content delivery
  • •Collaborate with operations and backend teams for technical uptime
  • •Drive continuous improvement of the live game’s technical health
