Anforderungen
- Scientific degree or High School Diploma in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related subject
- Equivalent experience in laboratory environment with focus on molecular diagnostics systems and assays, or experience as Product Specialist, Support Specialist, or related function in Molecular Diagnostic Industry
- Deep understanding of common molecular biological techniques for support of technical product portfolio
- Good understanding of Nucleic Acid Extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Fluorescence In-situ Hybridization (FISH)
- Analytical skills for effective solving of complex failure conditions
- Communication skills for building and maintaining relationships and facilitating problem solving
- Listening skills for identifying and focusing on customer needs
- Training and presentation skills for demonstration or training on product use and application
- Fluent German language skills
- Resilience to cope with stressful situations from high workloads, complex situations, and travel
- Excellent knowledge of IT-systems and common Software like MS Office
Aufgaben
- Provide remote and on-site support to internal and external customers
- Serve as technical expert for MDx assays, applications, and systems
- Develop and conduct application training for MDx products
- Set standards for MDx knowledge transfer
- Support local Sales and Marketing with MDx system demonstrations
- Facilitate communication between worldwide technical organizations
- Resolve application and assay-related customer complaints
- Contribute to continuous improvement of MDx products and services
- Provide technical product assistance and demonstrations
- Assist Sales and Marketing with technical details and input
- Support User Group Meetings, congresses, and exhibitions
- Ensure compliance with MDx’s quality and regulatory system
- Capture and document complaints and inquiries accurately
- Meet timelines and closure goals for complaint registration
- Investigate error conditions and diagnose root causes
- Provide troubleshooting solutions remotely or on-site
- Manage and coordinate activities to resolve customer complaints
- Escalate imminent failures to the next level of support
- Provide relevant data for problem solving and product improvement
- Develop training concepts for MDx products and systems
- Deliver on-site and facility-based training to customers
