Anforderungen
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field
- Experience managing shared technical boundary with another team
- Strong C++ experience in production codebase
- Solid Python for tooling, scripting, and automation
- Solid understanding of application development and UI frameworks
- Demonstrated experience leading or technically mentoring software team
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Experience with UI development and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js, or comparable modern UI framework
- Experience with real-time or near-real-time systems
- Experience with robotics, ideally including SLAM or ROS or comparable robotics middleware
- Device provisioning, software roll-out, and OTA update systems, or image-based deployment
- Experience with GPU or graphics stack integration on embedded platforms or patching kernel-dependent libraries
- Experience working with sensor data and sensors, particularly integrating camera or video pipelines
- Real-time 3D graphics or GPU programming
- Contributions to open-source software
Aufgaben
- Deliver software and user experience across the full stack
- Develop multi-language UI and real-time scan visualization
- Perform application-level UI development with Angular and Python backend
- Manage application-level ROS nodes
- Lead, mentor, and grow the System Software team
- Set technical direction for the System Software team
- Coach team members through regular 1:1s
- Drive career development and team performance
- Ensure strong communication and collaboration within and across teams
- Shape product direction with other teams
- Adapt System Software for new sensors, form factors, and features
- Own software readiness for production launches
- Define technical direction for production launches
- Align milestones and roadmaps with product management
- Define hardware and software handover conventions
- Establish workflows, interface contracts, and best practices for handover
- Drive reliability, data quality, and scalability of System Software
- Develop provisioning and update mechanisms for production volumes
- Own the team's internal infrastructure, including CI pipelines
- Manage hardware-in-the-loop and stress tests
- Uphold engineering quality through development, release, and QA processes
- Contribute hands-on to development where needed
- Drive AI adoption while balancing speed and quality
