- Lead and grow a team of quantum chemistry scientists
- Hire, onboard, and mentor quantum chemistry scientists
- Set priorities and provide career development for the team
- Provide performance feedback to the team
- Own the technical roadmap for gate-based quantum chemistry algorithms
- Own the technical roadmap for correlated electronic materials algorithms
- Balance scientific ambition with hardware timelines
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms
- Analyze fault-tolerant quantum algorithms
- Benchmark fault-tolerant quantum algorithms
- Perform end-to-end resource estimation for applications
- Drive hardware and software co-design
- Translate algorithmic requirements into hardware specifications
- Exploit neutral-atom platform strengths in algorithm design
- Take responsibility for internal projects
- Take responsibility for external projects
- Deliver customer work on time and at high scientific quality
- Deliver consortium work on time and at high scientific quality
