As a Team Lead in Corporate Accounting, you will guide a dedicated team in managing financial statements and complex transactions while fostering a collaborative culture. This role involves ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and working closely with various departments to enhance accounting practices.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in business administration or commercial training with relevant further education
• •Passed accountant exam is advantageous
• •At least 10 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• •In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS
• •Very good SAP knowledge at user level, preferably in S/4HANA
• •High level of confidence in closing accounts
• •Strong leadership skills with empathy
• •Ability to act resiliently and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment
• •Enjoyment in promoting and coaching employees
• •Good written and spoken English skills

Aufgaben

• •Manage the general ledger and sub-ledger team
• •Motivate and support team members individually
• •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• •Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS standards
• •Oversee general ledger accounting and sub-ledgers
• •Perform account reconciliation
• •Account for complex business transactions
• •Prioritize and coordinate team tasks during high workloads
• •Foster an open and solution-oriented team culture
• •Collaborate with Controlling, Group Accounting, and the Tax Department
• •Work with external auditors
• •Identify and implement process optimizations
• •Automate internal control mechanisms
• •Participate in system implementation projects
• •Contribute to the standardization and development of accounting practices
