Tax Operation Specialist(m/w/x)

Anforderungen
- Degree in Law, Economics, or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years working experience in tax-related areas
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive work style with strong customer focus
- Fluent communication skills in English and German
- Good MS-Word and MS-Excel knowledge
- Application Avaloq know-how is an advantage
Aufgaben
- Assist in producing country-specific Client Tax Reports
- Monitor and implement new tax rules
- Provide first-level support for client adviser inquiries
- Collaborate on tax-related projects and technical process implementation
- Prepare and transmit data files to the outsourcing provider
- Monitor tax reclaim requests with the outsourcing provider
- Ensure reimbursement chain to clients
- Support continuous improvement of the tax reclaim process for quality enhancement
- Reconcile, prepare, and monitor Swiss stamp taxes (Form 9) and Supplementary withholding taxes (Form 182)
- Monitor and invoice Swiss stamp taxes for Ex-Custody clients
- Update withholding tax rates according to Double Taxation Treaty (DTT) for Swiss and foreign clients
- Support regulatory tax reporting topics such as U.S. Qualified Intermediary, U.S. FATCA, and CRS Reporting
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance efficiency
- Monitor and handle FinfraG, MiFIR, and EMIR Transaction Reporting
- Recognize and resolve issues
- Act as a contact person for institutional clients and their requests
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and transactional tax reporting obligations
