- Proven experience with API design (REST, gRPC, event streaming), data architecture, and event sourcing/CQRS patterns
- Deep expertise in OpenStack, Kubernetes, multi-cloud environments with advanced auto-scaling and caching skills
- Significant contributions to widely-adopted projects, preferably as maintainer in CNCF or Linux Foundation ecosystems
- Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs for vendor independence and establish patterns for open source ecosystems
- Awareness of industry standards related to security and compliance and experience integrating regulatory requirements into architectural patterns
- Experience working across cultures and languages with strong communication skills for diverse, distributed teams
- Excellent presentation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Expected travel of 0 - 10%
