- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related technical field
- Many years of professional experience in embedded software development and architecture, ideally across diverse domains
- Deep knowledge of embedded software design principles, RTOS, and hardware-software integration
- Certifications in embedded systems or software architecture are a plus
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python for embedded systems and automation scripting
- Hands-on experience in microcontrollers, SoCs, low-level drivers
- Experience with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, WiFi, BLE, Matter)
- Proficient in designing scalable, modular, and secure embedded architectures
- Strong software modeling skills and interface definition
- Expertise in secure coding practices and product security standards
- Experienced with debugging tools, emulators, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded development
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab)
- Proven track record guiding agile and remote teams for embedded software projects
- Experience defining KPIs for embedded software projects
- Experience applying industry best practices in embedded software
- Experience introducing new tools and processes for embedded software
- Strategic thinking

- Fluent in spoken and written German
- Fluent in spoken and written English

- Provide technical leadership to global teams
- Guide global teams through complex challenges
- Drive the entire application lifecycle from ideation to go-live
- Develop architectural solutions for legacy and new systems, especially for wireless communication and power electronics low voltage protection devices
- Apply problem-solving to create tangible business value
- Ensure robust security across products and solutions
