- Experience in manufacturing space-graded metallic components
- Knowledge of high-performance alloys and manufacturing methods
- Experience in welded metallic structures and inspection
- Familiarity with spacecraft structures or re-entry hardware
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, and organization
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Aufgaben
- Collaborate with mechanical and design units to manufacture complex metallic structures
- Partner with product assurance and procurement to control product quality
- Manage technical exchanges with suppliers regarding metallic structural parts
- Act as a technical liaison to resolve manufacturing issues promptly
- Monitor and improve supplier industrial processes to meet requirements
- Supervise supplier development roadmaps from TRL 4-5 through TRL 9
- Monitor supplier quality control plans, NDT, and material certifications
- Coordinate with engineering and suppliers to meet flight model schedules
- Support suppliers in optimizing machining, bending, and additive manufacturing
- Assist procurement and engineering during technical supplier discussions
- Prepare documentation for TRL, PDR, CDR, QR, and MRR reviews
- Generate technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
