Anforderungen
- Minimum 7 years experience with Bachelor's degree in Quality/Safety/Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier quality and development in regulated environments
- Strong understanding of medical device QMS and supplier controls
- Understanding of regulatory expectations
- Ability to assess complex manufacturing and quality processes
- Ability to identify risk-based improvement opportunities
- Knowledge of various special processes strongly preferred (injection molding, etc.)
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Problem solving methodology certifications are a nice to have
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
- High attention to detail
- Analytical thinking skills
- Sound professional judgment
- Strong ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple audits in parallel
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
- Flexibility to work across time zones
Aufgaben
- Lead deep technical and process capability assessments for suppliers
- Drive resolution of critical supplier issues through root cause analysis
- Identify systemic risks and implement sustainable mitigation strategies
- Drive deployment of supplier maturity frameworks by assessing QMS effectiveness
- Translate findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps
- Monitor supplier maturity progression and integrate insights into sourcing strategies
- Lead initiatives to shift quality ownership to suppliers
- Integrate FTR principles into APQP, NPI, and design transfer activities
- Proactively mitigate risks to improve first-pass yield and product conformance
- Coach suppliers and internal teams on quality tools and methodologies
- Drive adoption of standardized supplier development practices
- Promote consistency through training and knowledge sharing
- Lead complex supplier development programs for strategic and high-risk suppliers
- Define objectives, KPIs, and success criteria for supplier programs
- Track progress and remove barriers in supplier development programs
- Maintain regulatory and QMS knowledge
- Support audit best practices and provide updates to stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of supplier development and audit programs
