Aufgaben
- Provide targeted English language acquisition support
- Support students in accessing subject-specific curriculum language
- Deliver small-group and individualised support
- Support students with organisation, planning, and task initiation
- Reinforce learning through pre-teaching, re-teaching, and scaffolding
- Help students develop independence as learners
- Support students’ social-emotional adjustment
- Work alongside subject teachers to support student access to lessons
- Provide in-class scaffolding while promoting independence
- Adapt learning materials in collaboration with classroom teachers
- Help students understand instructions and assessment expectations
- Contribute to inclusive classroom practice
- Contribute to individual support planning
- Maintain clear records of interventions and progress
- Communicate regularly with colleagues about student progress
- Contribute to review meetings with support services and parents
- Support the school in monitoring provision appropriateness
- Work as part of the Student Support Services team
- Collaborate closely with EAL, Learning Support, and Counselling
- Attend relevant student support meetings
- Contribute to a joined-up support model
- Support transition planning and longer-term pathway discussions
