- Student in geography, hydrology, environmental science, or related field with strong affinity for computer science
- Enrolled as student at European university during contract term

- Familiarize with CWatM and mHM structure, configuration, and execution
- Analyze CWatM input and output variables for mHM coupling
- Document CWatM installation, configuration, and running workflow
- Identify suitable exchange variables between CWatM and mHM
- Support development of a FINAM wrapper or component for CWatM
- Set up a simple test case to demonstrate coupling
- Run small test simulations and plausibility checks
- Document work steps, interface assumptions, and open technical questions
- Contribute to Git-based development workflows, including issues, merge requests, and code reviews
