- Solve real business needs at scale
- Build next-generation transaction systems
- Develop a highly-parallel and fault-tolerant database system
- Implement a decentralized caching system for terabytes of metadata
- Design and implement high-performance systems for growing database requests
- Create core infrastructure features including APIs and DDL transactions
- Develop advanced features like cloning, time travel, snapshots, and replication
- Analyze and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks
- Work on background services for the multi-level metadata system
- Ensure operational readiness and meet customer commitments for availability and performance
