As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will take charge of the cloud infrastructure that powers the WunderGraph Cosmo platform, ensuring its reliability and scalability while mentoring the team and driving architectural innovations.

Anforderungen

• •Proven experience architecting and operating scalable cloud-native platforms
• •Thriving in a dynamic remote-first environment
• •Deep expertise in a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• •Strong understanding of system architecture and distributed systems
• •Experience building or managing modern observability stacks
• •Self-starter attitude and leader’s mindset

• •Own the core platform infrastructure and services
• •Drive the architectural vision for the platform
• •Make key decisions on technologies like Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
• •Mentor team members and provide architectural guidance
• •Architect, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure using Go and Kubernetes
• •Evolve the observability stack with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ClickHouse
• •Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for improved build times
• •Implement Infrastructure as Code best practices using Terraform
• •Design and implement security best practices for compliance
• •Document platform features and architectural decisions
