- Proficiency with GraphQL
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with SQL databases
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases
- Ability to make high-stakes architectural trade-offs
- Exceptional communication of technical concepts
- Clear, open, concise English communication
- Advanced experience with Docker
- Advanced experience with Git
- Advanced experience with modern security protocols (JWT, OAuth2)
- Driving "Shift Left" security maturity (desirable)
- Driving DevOps maturity (desirable)
- Financial industry background (advantageous)
- Developing highly regulated software products background (advantageous)
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Equivalent practical experience in solving large-scale engineering problems
