- Mastery of Java/Kotlin
- Mastery of Spring Boot
- Mastery of Nodejs/Typescript
- Mastery of AWS services (ECS, Fargate, Lambda)
- Proven leadership as Staff/Principal/high-impact Senior Engineer
- Experience in complex, cloud-native environment
- Deep expertise in designing and operating distributed systems at scale
- Evaluate trade-offs between API/architecture styles (GraphQL vs Restful vs gRPC, sync vs async)
- Evaluate trade-offs between database technologies (relation vs non relational)
- Demonstrated ability to make high-stakes architectural trade-offs
- Balance immediate delivery with long-term maintainability
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical stakeholders
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Clear, open, and concise communication in English
- Build it, run it mindset
- Advanced experience with modern DevOps best practices
- Advanced experience with modern infrastructure best practices
- Advanced experience with modern security best practices
- Daily use of Docker
- Daily use of Git
- Daily use of modern security protocols (JWT, OAuth2)
- Experience driving "Shift Left" security maturity (highly desirable)
- Experience driving DevOps maturity (highly desirable)
- Experience in utilizing AI/ML tools or platforms to enhance software development processes
- Background in the financial industry (significant advantage)
- Background in developing highly regulated software products (significant advantage)
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Equivalent practical experience in solving large-scale engineering problems
